Charles S.
Charlie S. started his musical career when he started playing piano at age 5. Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, he has had music in his life since he was born. He started playing bass, piano, guitar, and percussion in high school. During this, he was chosen as the top all state combo for the ILMEA program of Illinois, and for the Jazz Band of America in 2024, being picked first out of all high schoolers in America. He currently plays and teaches throughout the midwest. Charlie is Pursuing both a jazz studies degree under Prof. Rodney Whitaker and also a music education degree at Michigan State University. In his free time, Charlie enjoys cooking, nature, and winter sports!
