Andrew B.
Andrew B. is a brass instructor who specializes in the trumpet, but also loves to teach trombone, tuba, French horn, and euphonium. He graduated from Michigan State University's College of Music in 2025 with a degree in jazz studies. By day, Andrew teaches K-8 music at a Lansing charter school, but by night, he is a gigging trumpet player all across the state, country, and world. He plays all sorts of events in all musical genres, and most notably has performed in Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, at the Detroit Jazz Festival multiple times, and even at Lincoln Center in New York City. Andrew was raised in the Detroit musical community and has a strong passion for music performance and education. Outside of music, Andrew follows all Detroit sports and has a deep love of baseball and longboarding!
