Min-Shan T is a Taiwanese pianist and educator, currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at Michigan State University under Professor Deborah Moriarty. She holds a Master of Music and Piano Performance Certificate from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Music from National Taiwan Normal University.
Min-Shan enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced pianists. She is patient and attentive, taking the time to listen to each student’s goals and learning style, and tailoring lessons to help them grow confidently as musicians. Her teaching emphasizes building solid technical skills, musical expression, and a lifelong love of music. As a performer, Min-Shan has appeared at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, and the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland. She also collaborates with instrumentalists, vocalists, and choirs, and currently serves as Choir Pianist at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Haslett, Michigan.
