Lyudmila G. is a versatile musician and dedicated educator with a strong background in classical performance. Trained as a violinist and pianist, she brings deep musical understanding and expressive artistry to her teaching. She has over 14 years of experience performing in orchestras and chamber ensembles, as well as teaching students of various ages and levels. Lyudmila is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Violin Performance at the College of Music in Michigan.

Although her education is rooted in classical traditions, Lyudmila has a special passion for rock music—especially songs with expressive vocals—and for film music. She also enjoys composing her own pieces. Having visited more than ten countries, she draws inspiration from diverse cultures and musical traditions.

Beyond music, Lyudmila loves reading scientific literature, baking delicious treats (especially lemon cookies), spending time with her daughter, and admiring cats. She enjoys exploring beautiful things—in art, nature, and everyday life—and brings this sense of curiosity and wonder into her teaching.

Peter K. has been playing violin since 2001 and has a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and a master’s degree from Michigan State University. He teaches Piano, Violin, and Viola at Okemos Music Academy. Peter has performed with many orchestras around Michigan, including the Saginaw, Midland, Oakland, Warren, and Alma Symphonies. He has led large classes in middle and elementary schools for fifteen years. In addition, he teaches throughout Michigan as a private instructor. Peter also frequently performs with a bluegrass band based out of Flint.
